If you are 18 years or older, out of high school, and you live within the borders of our fire district, or in the immediate vicinity outside our district (Also known as a buffer zone), you may be eligible to join our family!  We also have separate agencies within our fire department that you can join.  Firefighting isn't all you can do:  We have an auxiliary that men or women can join to help assist the firefighters in their duties, without going to the extremes of putting on heavy equipment and maintaining a training regiment.  We have an explorer post that any young adults between the ages of 14-21 can join.  And now, we have a separate fire police classification, where you can preserve scene safety also without the rigors of full-fledged firefighting.  Please feel free to call our headquarters location if you would like to show interest in any of these duties to help your community.  They will be glad to direct you to the person responsible for that team.  If you like, you may also print our application online.  Simply fill it out fully, sign it, and turn it in at the address below along with a copy of your driver's license.
